There is that hateful word again "Alleged". They were caught red handed they are guilty, they DID do the crime

I understand what you mean. But reflect for a moment on the tragedy of this man's short life. Do you have any idea what his circumstances were, what neglect or abuse or harshness led him into crime? We don't know, of course, and therefore ordinary human solidarity and compassion impels us to regret his death even while we condemn his criminality and injury he (presumably) inflicted on his victims and the common good.

I for one don't care what his circumstances were which caused him to threaten someone's life for monetary proceeds.
Sure, it's sad that someone died. I wish he had never become a robber. There's that compassion.
But there's no tear shed in the removal of a robber from the gene pool.
 
Like you, I reprehend his criminality and injury to others.

But both the circumstances of his life (even if just falling in with other criminals) and the tragedy of his death are profoundly regrettable.

And like you and me, he chose. I'll condemn his decisions, and I'm not going to preemptively pity him for what society might or might not have done to him. He was armed during the robbery, meaning that he was willing to kill innocents for personal gain. I'll spare my pity for those who have hard lives, and still chooses not to do crime.

Good riddance.

Any lingering ability to feel compassion for criminals has been progressively leached out of me.

When criminals die during the commission of a crime, fleeing a crime, or by their own hand, I cannot help but feel a quiet glow of satisfaction.

No matter how terrible their prior context may have been, they chose the route that strips others of their dignity, peace of mind, possessions, and even their lives.

F.ck them.

The fact that he took his life, meant he must have had something to do it with. This could and might have already been used on a victim as well.

Seriously ?

Some people are just born bad, their wiring is wrong, no matter how much nurturing is given.
They derive pleasure from others pain, suffering and weakness, seeking out opportunities to fullfill those desires and instinctual needs.
They are Sociopaths and Psychopaths who have no place and serve no purpose in society.
Predators who prey on the defenceless.

I have more pity for roadkill than the likes of these individuals.

I have met at least 2 so far. One I knew when she was still very young and the signs were already there from about aged 10 that this was a devil bitch incarnate. It only got worse the older she got. Derived pleasure from trying to destroy every relationship around her including her own.

That's coming from a stable family life. Didn't make a difference. Some are born with Legion blood.
