This doesn't mean anything. This was at the height of the cold war and the space race, so I'm sure the FBI would have been very interested in anything to do with the Russian Sputnik.

Well, we don't need any more proof then that pic right there, that aliens exist.

I'd love to believe that aliens are visiting the planet. It would mean that we're not alone in the universe and that there are whole other worlds out there. It's even mathematically likely that there are other civilizations. But let's face it, there isn't a single piece of tangible evidence, and even if the world's governments were conspiring to hide the truth there is no way that they could cover up every single so-called alien sighting and abduction, if they really were happening with such regularity. How is it that despite all the thousands of "sightings" there isn't a single credible photograph on the entire Internet?

Seeing as Sputnik was a series of satellites, not just one, could they be refering to one that had a receiver? Not argueing against, just stating they didn't actually state Sputnik 1, which is what you all are refering too...

You always hear of aliens being some kind of super race with ultra high tech gadgets, but I've always wondered how disappointed we would be if we one day came across a primitive bunch, maybe a bunch of primitive people living in caves eating with their hands sorta thing. We would certainly end up being the high tech super alien race who dress and talk funny lol!

Alpha Centauri is actually a binary star system that will have some issue with supporting life as you can not get a planet in the habitual zone of both stars at the same time.

As for the odds of finding other life at the same tech level as us would be very unlikely. Check out the Drake Equation or the way Carl Sagan put it

Because every image and video is refuted/denied as rubbish. It doesn't matter what image gets put up on the net, the non-believers will continue to refute. I've seen enough to know we are not alone. Before you ask, my answer is "the internet is your friend".

Actually, for Christians it is a real problem. Go and read Psalm 8. Basically God created man a little lower than the Angels and put him in Dominion over all creation. But if Aliens (at least aliens that are more advanced than humans) are real, then it means that is not true, and the Bible must therefore be a lie.

Unless the angels are the aliens, then the bible is true, and very cryptic, but then it was written by people with a completely frame of reference to us.

I heard that there is an embargo around our solar system, enforced by a group of extraterrestrials from our galaxy.

This embargo will remain in place until certain 'conditions' for public disclosure has been met by Terran governments.

One of the conditions was a global communications network - this has been achieved.
Some of the other conditions are:

- redistribution and more equal distribution of global resources : this is in progress and will take time to attain
- dismantling of nuclear weapons : this is in progress.. don't expect to see anything about this in the news
- no weapons allowed in space or on the moon
- familiarizing humanity with the idea of extraterrestrial existence: this has been ongoing and is intensifying

There are many other conditions humanity must meet in order to become a member of the local galactic federation,
once we have attained the conditions for membership, we will join the federation as a junior member with very
limited access to trade with other civilisations and a limited license to explore our local solar system only.

We are not ready. Expect much more civil unrest and financial bubbles in the next decade whilst the world changes.

I have heard that Full UFO Disclosure will probably only happen around the year 2021.

I heard - means I read - I have read hundreds of documents related to this issue, including the UFO files released by many governments.

The issue of whether extraterrestrials exist and are here was asked to me by my children a few years ago. I laughed louder than anyone at the absurdity of all the nonsense about lizards and abductions and so on, but I have always made the effort to inform my children of the facts - so I told them I would research the issue - and then I started digging - the more I read, the deeper I dug, and eventually I came to the conclusion that yep - indeed the circumstantial evidence for the existence of extraterrestrials exists.

I don't really care about debating this issue anymore, I am satisfied with the amount of research I have done, I know they are here, I don't really care if others think otherwise. I fully understand that they want hard evidence.

The earth was not flat after all, the sun is not the center of the universe, and our knowledge about the universe and quantum entanglement at this time is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Nice Pic!! There is no way that you can look at that and think "humans are the only intelligent beings in the universe". Without reference to the argument about whether or not we are being visited by aliens at the moment, its a fact that there are other beings out there.
