Altech Autopage set to join SA broadband war

They tried to be as vague as possible... they don't say exactly what it is that will make them stand out.
Went to techconcepts.co.za and there's nothing new, R72 for 1gb adsl :/
 
Thats right . They're not in the front line war, but merely interested in picking up scraps on the side:wtf:
 
Altech deserve a big round of applause! It was partly their court case against the DoC that helped open the flood gates for self-provisioning and network freedom that brought about these prices! :D
 
They do. But a court case is one thing, a decent value prop is another.

Just where does it stop? I am not ungrateful for the competition, but is there enough to go round to justify all the players in this segment of the market? :confused:
 
I am an Autopage cellphone client and I shudder to think what their client service levels will be! They can't even handle simple queries on line and it seems they have all of three people in their call centre. :mad:
 
What exactly was offered? I just saw a bunch of talk.
 
Jeez, how many marketing buzz words can you fit into one article? All talk and no substance.
 
That dude should be a politician: a lot of talk without actually saying anything.
 
I will never ever be an Autopage customer again. I don't care what they do.
 
i will continue to stay as far away as possible from them, even if they're giving away free data. had
an experience with them wrt a cellphone contract and vowed "never again."

it looks to me that everyone else (outside of mweb, ah, etc) in the broadband space is trying to keep
themselves in the news without actually offering anything?
 
*yawn* Altech are always wanting to take over the world and seldom get anywhere.
