Alternative Cryptocurrencies (General Discussion & Trading)

They could be right, but I think with all the interest in alts the pullback might not be that bad, unless you're holding a complete ****coin. I don't see myself going back to BTC.

For me, the message of the article was this:
Bitcoin will go up, and alts will go down, but because of this, it will be a good time to buy alts (with fundamental protocol strength), because the cycle will turn, and these alts will go up again.

Not too sure if I got the message correct

Anybody looking for a Ledger Nano S? I finally received my second one (from Ledger directly) today. Still sealed. I'm in CT, willing to ship at your cost and risk.

Price is R1350 - pretty much what I paid (R1200 for ledger and shipping, Sars charged me another R150 today.)
You got a pm

The market is irrational, but if alts crash I'd stick to the ones which actually have a future. Right now BTC is being used to get alts, can't wait until it gets replaced by something better.

My portfolio hasn't been this red in a long time. The CMC balls-up last night led to a lot of weak hands selling and now the market is down over 100 billion. Buy the dip

Yeah 12% down since last night for me. Such is life, there's no choice but to hold and ride it out.

EDIT: Getting worse, 20%

Trading can be good training to let go of things.

● Decide to sell something and take some profit, two days later it's doubled in price.●

Instead of getting emotional about it, it's easier to see that intruding feeling as a little test of your minds ability to let go.

Observe it, pop it, and let it go.
Good training for when sleepyhead cuts in front of you on the highway.
Observe and let go.
*****s not worth getting caught up in.

When I start feeling something emotionally (body, stomach...you know the feeling) I know I need to check myself and what I'm doing - whether in trading or elsewhere in life. It's probably the biggest reason I made so many silly mistakes when starting out (and still do) - making emotional decisions.

Check yo'self and happy trading :).

So i initiated a withdrawl from hitbtc of all my dent to Kucoin on Friday 5 Jan. It finally can be tracked either etherscan today and it has this as an error " Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad jump destination] "

So right now my dent is not in hitbtc or in kucoin... I have raised a support ticket with hitbtc but no respond as of yet. Any one else had this?

Why didn't CMC give prior notice?

What do you think of Capricoin? (I did a search but don't see it mentioned here)

Has anyone used a bot trader before?

I have Gekkobot running off my Pi as a paper trader for now. Takes some fiddling to get right, and it is very much still in development.

You could try Crabby.io, but they only support Poloniex if I remember correctly

Was looking at profit trailer, they charge you 0.03 bitcoin once off. It’s more for beginners starting off in trading. Have you heard of it?
