Alternative Cryptocurrencies (General Discussion & Trading)

Anyone get in on Chaincoin before the 200% rise? What do you guys reckon it could get to (some predicting 4 figures).

If you kept Chaincoin you must be smiling all the way to the bank.

Anyone have any luck with Sia-UI wallet? It takes forever to sync and if you close/start the app again it appears to corrupt. Looks like I'm going to trash it all and start a full sync for a 3rd time.

Yeah mine also took very long to sync, but once done it's fine

NEO (previously known as antshares ANS) have some developer conference or something tomorrow which could impact investor confidence one way or another. Binance exchange opened for NEO trading and apparently does not 'steal' your GAS (previously known as ANC) dividends as Bittrex did, withdrawal of NEO is free. If you trade (buy with bid order) NEO there, make sure you buy some BNB (Binance) first, if you select binance for trade fees then you get 50% off the trading fee.

I see Bitcoin is down to R27 000 on Luno b.t.w.

End of May I bought Coinonat (CXT) for R5k. My investment went to a low of R1k. Last night my investment was at an all time high of about R75k, but now it's down to R15k. I'm HODL, I'm never selling CXT even if it goes to zero like Digital Money Bits (DMB) is now.

I made a mistake of selling Dotcoin (DOT) after my investment went up 25%. It would be up 250% now.

Depends on what you doing. If all you looking for is that 25% then it's kewl.

There is bux to be made day trading if you have the time. But hodl is my option.

But profits made in day trading is forcing my hand to get into that space. So I need to learn.

Agreed! Trading regularly needs a lot of time, I tried it and I suck as I always lost money. I'm better with buying and holding. Losing a potential profit of R60k (from R75k to R15k) in one day doesn't phase me in the slightest. I've become good at separating my emotions from my invested money.

You fortunate. One thing to overcome is that emotion.

OneGram seems interesting, every coin is backed by one gram of gold (at launch, to be specific). Yet another coin so I will probably not invest, just interesting.

Civic , does it have real potential to go big

This guy is apparently popular on youtube for his crypto analysis, his following voted as such:

It still depends on which ‘smart contract’ coin is better adopted. Ethereum is leading, but I have an idea that EOS will emerge stronger. The Chinese are still reluctant to invest into NEO, but we will need to see how the rebrand and new tech roadmap pans out. Interesting though, EOS is being discriminated like ETH was in the beginning, scam this, scam that, but they have the best leading devs according to many.

Do you know which coins all support smart contracts ? Recently saw another one pop up. This is going to be an interesting playout of coins over the coming years with the majority probably failing completely and a battle between the most advanced for actual popular adoption and use as opposed to investments.
