Considering Coinye on the way, do you guys think it will even be worth it to try and solo mine from the get go, or better to just jump into a pool from the start?

Should hopefully be easy mine and sale when it starts

Try deleting the blkindex.dat file under "%appdata%\Roaming\CoinyeCoin".
Seems to have sorted out my problem for now (touch wood)

Off to a bit of a late start last night, but ~12000 COYE for about 8hrs pooled mining not all bad I suppose. Had to switch stuff off today due to Eskom's planned work in our area, so will pick it up again this evening.

I have mined 24 hours on a gtx 1050 using nhequiminer on luckpool and earned 3.4 komodo coins so far. That is in line with nicehashminer mining zcash using gpu only in USD terms.
