Alternative Cryptocurrencies (General Discussion & Trading)

TKR (now CryptoInsight, previously called trackr) has been my best buy the past few weeks. Been up over 60% for the past week or two and remained there. It's a crypto-tracking app (and a desktop version) with a lot more functionality than blockfolio, and afaik the tokens will actually be used to purchase / facilitate unlocking additional functionality / advanced features or possibly even to sell trade ideas with other users.

These projects with useful tokens are a bit more interesting than so many where the token is just a fund-raising tool and then pretty much irrelevant to the utility of the project. Going be on the lookout for more things like this.

Have used it quite a few times for other things.

Else - aren't you registered on any international exchanges? Send yout LTC there and trade for BTC.

Why even bother? Unless you're involved in some dodgy plot or something I can't see the point of sending such small amounts.
 
Electronium claim they have almost reached their hard cap of $40 million in the ICO which was to run until 31 October. Hopefully they will activate their mobile-phone miner early as well. Could be interesting.
 
Did anybody receive their Authorship Tokens (ATS) from the referral program / signup bonus ?

I checked on the eth blockchain explorer, mine was not paid out :(

ATS is up 163% today b.t.w., probably due to being listed today on HitBTC

I bought it at the 50% and 30% bonus tokens phase. You buy too @etienne_marais & @blah99?

I've seen some ridiculous prices been thrown around like $1 in December which is nuts...if it's even at $0.1 in December would be an incredible amount.

I got some at 50% and 30% bonus as well.

0.1 by December would be great. But anything above 0.01 would already be profit.

My suggestion is not to overdo it on this one, I don't think they are solving any real world problem and are simply targeting the untapped market of mobile phone users. So you have a wallet and mining software on your phone, big deal ?, perhaps others will disagree.

Bonus on buy-in is now 0%

There may however be a demand for the coin as it hits exchanges with all the hype around it and possibly a chance to ROI and profit.

Indeed will use 1 or 2 days of mining profit, i think this one is more about the hype. Hopefully is has nice pump soon after so that I can dump

Cool that they reached their cap.

Anyone holding Xtrabytes? Seems they have a lot of news coming out soon & hopefully they can get on a few bigger exchanges. Price has gone up the last few days - a lot of people been waiting for a long time for this to do something.
