I have tried this:
1) Install EncFSMP (from https://sourceforge.net/projects/encfsmp/?source=typ_redirect)
2) Create an encrypted filesystem mount with a strong password
3) Move the files from the Jaxx folder in c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Jaxx to the encrypted filesystem
Then mount the encrypted filesystem before opening Jaxx, copy the files from the mounted filesystem to <...>\Roaming\Jaxx, use Jaxx, delete <...>\Roaming\Jaxx, unmount the encrypted filesystem.
Tedious, but worth it for the safety, can be scripted as well of course to make it easier.
And, if you make changes to Jaxx settings you will additionally have to move the files from <...>\Roaming\Jaxx back to the encrypted file system as an additional step before deletion in the previous sequence.
If anybody want to try this and have problems, let me know.
Furthermore:
I was hoping to get away with a link from AppData\Roaming to the mounted filesystem. A soft link (mklink /D) will create the link and show the files, but Jaxx itself does not recognize it. A junction is not allowed as it requires a 'local volume' (whatever that means) and trying to create a hard link fails across drives (i.e. volumes, as expected).
Anyone following and mining Siacoin?
Bought another 200 XRP this morning. Slightly above market price, but I'm in it for the long game with Ripple. I have high hopes for this coin.
You can't mine Ripple. Best bet to get it via an exchange (eg Poloniex), or buy directly from someone holding, which is what I'm doing. I have a Ripple guy![]()

Why not just fire up a small VM that you can leave off when not being used?
Meh, no particular reason. Bought from him before I even knew about Poloniex, seems right, not burning bridges and all that, and he usually throws in a little bonus now and then which makes up for the times he shafts me on price.sounds shady AF. why not on polo?
FTFY
Cat caught your tongue?![]()
It's because when you send an ether to an ICO company, they may require your product key. So if you send from an exchange, you won't be able to since the exchange has your product key.

Anyone currently holding Eth and crying?
I traded all of mine a week back for btc to invest elsewhere. Scared to move the btc now. Markets are looking scary... Maybe it's a good time to increase my SIA holdings :?
