Alternative Cryptocurrencies (General Discussion & Trading)

I've accumulated just over 30K XRP over time, with an average buy price across the board of around $0.17 after the last batch I bought, so smiling all the way. Willing to dump 1500XRP now if the price is right.

Sell on Altcointrader for ZAR, ZAR > BTC, BTC > XRP on Poloniex, rinse and repeat. Even with the associated fees, you will still come up on top. The ZAR price on Altcoin is very high, so some fancy footwork could leave you with either more XRP, or some pocket money for the holidays :)

I'll just put in some more at some point, and let it lie there and grow :o

What I've done is whenever I buy or get some money, with whatever if left after a transaction I dump that into XRP. It adds up quickly. Using Poloniex I would usually convert from 'whatever'coin to XRP as well.

Finally have access to my ETN ICO funds. Have new mobile wallet installed and reflecting all funds, but 'miner is currently offline. Please check back again soon'.

I have no idea what to invest in at the moment - every price seems quite high.

Bitshares BTS relative high to a couple of weeks ago as well, but strong upward curve that may last.
Solaris XLR for a longer HODL. The demand for masternodes remain high which means those who want to use XLR for that are typically buying 1000 coins at a go.

BTS is an utility coin, partly similar to Binance BNB which is used to pay fee on their exchange, BTS is used to pay trade fees on Open Ledger (and for voting etc.)

Electronium could possibly recover after ICO sell-off.

Price is on a gradual uptrend, it's going past it's USD ath, volume increasing. I'm already up 100%.

Ripple approaching BCH market cap.
Surpassed.

Ripple might well hit $1 before the night is through.

It's one crypto that has real use, and a very much lower transaction cost than Bitcoin. It's >20x faster, and it can scale.

I'm hoping for $20 by June. ;). Wish, not prediction.

Yeah, I believe there is a real-world application for this, and anyone investing should evaluate that for any coin they invest in. "What does it do? Nothing?? Oh well, moving on...." I believe in the months to come, Ripple will make some waves (no pun intended).

Buy Ripple on Poloniex and sell on Altcoin. The price on Altcoin is hugely inflated.

Morning,

Why does Altcoin take forever to verify you and when trying to phone them is impossible? Also I've been "verified" just to be unverified when hitting the refresh button...

What's Poloniex like to trade on (simple)?

Same here, been a week now for verification. No replies to email either.

I'm just starting up and need an exchange that I can fund with ZAR. So will go Luno for now, but I want to buy Ripple on Altcoin, that you dont get on Luno.

I think it may be easier to just buy ETH from Luno and transfer to Altcointrader. Sell the ETH there and buy the coins you want. There will be some fees involved. But at the time of writing. The ETH price on Altcoin is R700 more than Luno and that might offset the fees for transferring.

Your account doesn't need to be verified to transfer. I was told here on mybb that it will only need to be verified when you want to cash out
