Went through their website and i liked the ideas behind it. Looks like a fully South African team. Other than that, I don't know anything about it so it's a bit of a shot in the dark. Prob not wise but I didn't put much in.

I noticed this but then I found that the company is situated in Belize. So something is a bit odd with this. Looking at their roadmap it also shows that testing would be in Latin America.

Mmm. Well their support has been ok so far (not that you can judge much by that). Mailed them a question about the wallet address I sent for the DIMCOIN payment. Got back to me pretty quickly.

ETN price at $0.12 and wallets going live in about an hour.
Cryptopia better be ready for the traffic.
Wonder how low this is going to go.

Would be interesting to see how the testing goes.

Personally I see an issue on the merchant side. They will essentially have to have 2 accounting packages. 1 for normal fiat and the other for dimfiat... each coming with their own subscriptions.

Then there's the issue of the dim accounting package being able to integrate with the normal accounting package.

Easier way would be to have wise just facilitate the transaction from dimfiat to fiat, similar to snapscan since the two are 1:1.

The count down timer on the site says 2 hours and a bit. What is that for?

Universa total token supply after ICO:

What will happen to unsold tokens?

Any tokens that have not been sold during the Token Sale will not be created and therefore simply will not exist. The maximum total amount of tokens was set at 15 billion if the harcap during the Token Sale would have been reached. As described above the total amount of tokens will be 4,997,891,952. Therefore, 10,002,108,048 tokens will not be created.
That's better for us, having a lower supply. I wonder how it affects their business plans.

the new wallet launch, as far as I know that means the mobile wallet with mining enabled, as well as access to ICO coins (the latter requires password change).

Well, it has to be said they were upfront about it not being a real miner from the start

Yeah they were not too clear. I mean, comparing a guy standing in a mining farm to a guy smiling at his mobile relaxing on his couch...no. That alone will easily mislead people that don't know how useless mobile phones and even fairly powerful PCs are at mining. Anyway, just my opinion, which doesn't matter much.

Suppose you are right, not everybody is going to read a technical whitepaper...

The countdown is now complete, their server is overloading I think, bad gateway messages from time to time and partial page load lol

Just hodl. There was a believer here that said it will be 5$ in a month or so.
I'm seeing most people that bought into the ICO selling as soon as it goes live and the price plummet right with it. Of course I'm just speculating

I'm holding :).
Till at least 2019 / $0.5 - $1 at which point I'll sell of a small amount.

Servers are getting hammered which was kind of to be expected. It will eventually stabilize once traffic dies down.
