Sent some LTC from cryptopia to altcointrader, hopefully goes quickly.

I worked out my mining earnings is going to be worth more in LTC and it is cheaper to transfer! R80 vs R500.

Damn LTC is quick !! all done.

Yup, currently receiving 7 Ark per week from voting a delegate - R350 for doing nothing.
Not bad - that's petrol money for the week :).
Nice to get in early on coins like this.
Waves is another one I wish I got in early on - their payouts are also supposedly quite good.

I hope Richard knows what will happen if they bork this one up. Better make sure his watch is sync'd to universal time.
Dis 'gon be interesting.

I've mined about 2 ETN. Maybe I'll be rich? :p
Lol.
Maybe 2 dollars richer in 2019.

TIA !

SALT is a good currency. Solid business plan.

I use Bittrex, Hitbtc and Binance as my exchanges. Cool trip, convert your currency to DOGE for cheap exchanges between exchanges :D Or just really good profit.

If I buy LTC from altcointrader - do I keep the coins stored there and then sell from there too when I want to (like on Luno) or is there a better option? Looking to buy a few LTC coins but want to know the above before going ahead.

Depends if you trading or investing and what amount. Generally, no. Especially small brands. You want your currency if it is of significant value, to spend as little time on an exchange as possible. Why do you guys limit yourselves to local exchanges. This is blockchain without borders :D

Poloniex / Bittrex FTW... but to be fair, when buying, it's far easier for most to do an EFT.

@weelzSA If you're buying to trade, then yes, you put in what you want to trade and you move it around to make profit.

Luno has one function to me. Convert fiat into crypto and then its in the XMR :D Its gone, never to be seen again

Another electroneum update:

Electroneum Re-Launch Date & Time Confirmed
Hi Everyone!

We are launching access to the Android app and web based wallet manager tomorrow (Wed 13th) at 12 noon UK time. If you have an Android device you'll need to download the new app from the play store AFTER 12 noon. Google roll out apps around the world over a few hours, so we can't guarantee you'll have instant access to the new app, but keep trying after 12 noon (UK time). You'll need to remove the old app from your phone, we are starting fresh due to the number of changes, which now includes 18 languages, market data and a viral referral system.

Web based wallets (https://my.electroneum.com) will be live at noon. This can be accessed on any device and allows iOS users access to their wallets.

PASSWORD RESET TOMORROW AFTER 12 NOON UK TIME.

You WILL need to reset your password from https://my.electroneum.com AFTER 12 noon tomorrow. We are prepared for heavy load - but we are likely to see hundreds of thousands of users visit our website tomorrow afternoon. You will need to confirm your account on your mobile device by SMS message, and set up a new 5 digit PIN numbers.

Partner Update

We have just signed a agreement with an Airtime provider (mobile operator) with over 5m smartphones in the market and are in the final stages with a number of other operators. We will release full details of each of these deals in conjunction with the providers.

In line with the detailed data requirements of these partnerships we are releasing the mobile miner section of the app in the New Year as we need to ensure we carry out a staged rollout with commercial sized groups of beta testers. We will also have our iOS app into beta test in the New Year. This will not effect the wallet section of the app, which is fully functional.

Have a great day / evening everyone!

hey what can I say, we are slow to jump this boat.

Are you saying I should not buy right now ?
I guess what I'm saying is to be careful of buying something when it's at an all-time high. The only reason you know about Litecoin right now is because of the huge price increase. The ease with which you can buy cryptocurrencies doesn't mean that you approach it so flippantly and without a bit of research. To just throw money at something because HOLY **** IT'S MOONING isn't a strategy that's viable. Sure, you might make some money, but the best way to approach a lot of trades is with patience and due diligence.

Look at this chart for Litecoin:

LITECOIN.png

The people making real money from this bought down in the green circle, everyone else that's scared of missing out is jumping on the bandwagon along the way and now - you're wanting to jump in right at the top. Obviously you can make money buying now, and yes - it might go 10x but...I prefer sticking to the general rule of not buying at new highs, regardless of how tempting it is.
