Am I asking to much for my PC

I am currently trying to sell my pc and all peripherals on gumtree for R6000. I am having a hard time finding a buyer, so I want to know from the community if you think the price is too high.

The basic details are:

AMD Athlon II Dual Core 2.8 Ghz CPU, 4GB RAM, 512 MB 9600GT, 2 X 250 GB SATA, LG DVD Writer,
4 in 1 card reader, 19 inch Philips CRT, Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard, Logitech MX518 Mouse and Gaming Mouse pad, Labtech 5.1 speakers, Two USB game controllers, Windows 7, Call of Duty 4, Half Life 2, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

Is R6000 asking to much for all this ?
 
If the software is legal, then I don't think it is a bad price... but most people are probably only looking at the hardware (mainly whats in the box). For R6k you could buy better hardware new, but then you wouldn't have the screen. keyboard, etc. I think the problem is you are limiting yourself to people who want a complete PC - most people already have a screen, keyboard, etc already.
 
You could build a similar (slightly better) spec PC for about R3700 from PCint (including a compatible motherboard and DDRII RAM as you didn't specify). This leaves about R2300 for your peripherals and software. Keep in mind that these are new prices and your second hand prices should be lower. My advice would be to look around on gumtree and our own classifieds for similar spec PC and price yours competitively.
 
That price is far to high, look at about 4k provided someone takes the games, just the pc itself maybe 3k if you lucky.
 
Ye, around 3.5k you might get a buyer on gumtree. Post it for sale on these forums, maybe some1 will take it off your hands.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm not prepared to sell the hardware parts (cpu, mobo, ram etc) separately, but I appreciate the advice. Will be adjusting my prices....
