I am a last born and have 10 sisters and I am d only boy in the family, problem here is I am grown up now and last year decided to move out with my wife and left Mom, Dad,3 nieces and 2 nephews, they are 21, 24, 16, 17 and 10, problem is my parents and my sisters are not happy with me moving out, they say I am neglecting our parents, they don't give me peace in life they say since I am a last born I must b the one responsible for our parents.... thing is I feel like by saying I must b the one who takes care of our parents they shift the responsibilities to me thus at 29 I don't think I will have enough time as I work most of the time, now mom is sick and they like blackmailing me saying its my fault coz I moved out, now this kills me, I go visit at leas twice a week but due to that whenever I am there I get a verbal lashing from my sisters. I now feel stressed and feel like they don't want me to progress in life. feel free to judge me guys coz I just want your opinions on this one

So your sisters aren't married? Living with your wife at home with sisters in black land is a recipe for disaster. What do your sister want of you? Financial help for your parents or looking after?

11 Children!!!

That's the problem with the third world.

They really wanted a boy, 11th time is a charm in this case :D. Fk them stop feeling guilty, there are 11 children who where they can should equally bare the responsibility of the parents.

That's the folly they live by. Spread things wide ....

Yes, its called emotional blackmail. Your main responsibility is your wife and kids if you have any. Everything else comes second.

I am not rich, I have an average Joe's job, I barely make ends meet for myself and wife n kid, some of them are not married.

Let me guess ... your 10 sisters are even worse off than you.

Tell your 10 sisters to get off their @sses and get jobs as with the two nieces the same applies.
This is what BEE does...............
Boy eventually eleventh

nope most of them have decent life's actually, they probably earn more than me.

You all are products of your daddy's sperm and your mommy's egg cells. Tell them to **** themselves and contribute equally.

B-Mamba .... this isn't suppose to be a difficult situation for you.

Black Mamba as most of the guys have said, don't let your siblings bully you. They all have equal responsibility to your parents.
Eish mara black women sometimes.. I feel for you bro

I once asked about the "lotsa children" thing and was told "that way we know, we have many children to look after us when we are old"

Also the labola thing.... With so many daughters, have they not made substantial money, when marrying them off?

You're not selfish and your mom is most definitely not ill due to you leaving the house. You still visit frequently, so you haven't written off your family at all. As far as I see it, your sisters have as much of an obligation to take care of your parents as you do. Isn't it usually the daughters that have to take care of the parents anyway?

Dont feel bad ...All eleven of you should share the responsibility. its unfair of them to expect you to shoulder the burden yourself. Afterall its their parents as well!
