Amarok or Isuzu

Here is my personal opinion on these

Hi lux is overpriced and there quality has slowly deteriorated, they have gone soft. Still the hi lux cant pass the moose test. Not sure if current model was tested.

Amarok is a good bakkie but also very expensive. Drives like a big car. Very comfy. not a real workers bakkie

Izuzu is the only real workers bakkie. you can load it. drive it over bad terrain and it will keep going.

Ranger mmmmm well I am not sure I trust ford after all the failures and refusal to recall. The new 2.2 bi turbo still need to proof reliability. I have a feeling this might not be the case.

I thought the new Ranger/Everest bi turbo diesel motors were 2.0?

Sorry you are correct they are 2 litre. Finger error. I heard but have not verified that the same block is being used as what is used in the mustang and focus rs. If so lets hope the resolved the premature head gasket failure due to open deck design. Or we going to be seeing lots of broken fords.

Ford 'stop sale' on 2.0-litre turbo diesel continues, no word when it will be lifted

Ford Australia
does not know how long it will take to fix a problem with more than 2000 vehicles equipped with single-turbo and twin-turbo versions of its 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine – including some versions of the Ranger ute (pictured).
A fault with the high-pressure fuel injectors on the EcoBlue family of turbo diesel engines has forced Ford to stop delivery of 2115 cars across the Ranger dual-cab ute, seven-seat Everest SUV, large Endura SUV, Transit and Transit Custom van line-ups.
CarAdvice understands the Ranger accounts for more than a quarter of the vehicles affected. While some of the affected cars are still with dealers, a number have already been delivered to customers.

I thought as much, thanks.

A new red Mustang came down our street this last weekend while I was outside our property, it looked great and then I heard the DV, very disappointing.
