Amcu seeks payment to end strike

The faster these companies sell their mining operations in this country the better. Let whoever takes it over and burn it down to the ground. Unfortunately, miners will eventually get just what they have been asking for.

How better will be the situation for SA? Miners will lose out but the economy will be the biggest loser.

Workers wants more money and will keep striking each and every year for it, unions wants more money and will assist miners in striking each and every year for more money, government wants unions and mineworkers to succeed and allow them to strike each and every year, so everyone wants more and more and more....

At some point in time things will backfire on everyone and everyone will just simply lose! So, instead of this circus continuing to show the world what South Africans are really like, I think the best is if everything simply comes tumbling down and everyone suffers the consequences.

I hear you and your view makes sense. I personally prefer to take a risk of managing current situation compared to driving everything to tumble down where everyone suffers. Mark (Anglo's CEO) is of the opinion that its better for Anglo to lose money in order to protect SA economy than agreeing to the demands as they are.
