AMD releases cheapest ever DirectX 11 GPU

There's a typo in the beginning where the 5770 is mentioned.

ATi need to start working on their HAVOK (the equivalent of PhysX right?) drivers, then they will truly be better than nVidia.

DirectX 11 should not be mentioned as a selling point on anything less than a HD5850. What use is enabling DirectX 11 mode when your fps drop below 20?

The 5750 & 5770 are actually quite good in xfire, DX11 gaming on anything lower than that is pointless unless you're gaming at 800*600 :P

I'll take one, this seems like a pretty good deal. Would love to see the bench marks before forking out the cash though.

Still doesn't play it nicely....

(What's the point of playing Crysis if you can't play it with some eye candy turned on)

DirectX11 functionality on such a card is meaningless. Performance is too low even in DX 9 titles, check box feature thats nice to have but nothing useful.
HAVOK was bought by Intel, so they'll be no AMD version of it anytime soon
PhysX stands as the most prolific Physics simulation library/API on the market right now supporting the best tools and SDKs (PhysX Apex etc...) across all 4 platforms (PC, Wii, Xbox, PS3) and the only one that has hardware acceleration.
5570 much like most $60 VGA's is not for gaming, not sure if it drives the nail into anything, but lets wait for competitor's product before we say anymore.

Competitors product will only be here in about two months.
