After reading the article about ADSL price drops I wrote a mail to my Amobia (my WISP) and they actually responded.

I hope their prices drop soon, but in the meantime it is nice to have an ISP that cares and listens to its customers.
Big thanks to Amobia !

I have been with Amobia for more than a year now and have recommended it to a few friends. I am very happy with your service.
The biggest problem I have is your billing. It has been 18 months since you revised your pricing, currently ADSL (which you resell via wireless) is going for about R50 per GB (http://mybroadband.co.za/news/ADSL/9685.html) so you really can drop your prices significantly (perhaps R65 per GB) ?
Also your billing platform is really annoying - I want rollovers and less delay when I topup my account. Sometimes it takes up to 5minutes for internet connectivity to be restored after doing a topup - this is highly annoying.
I am looking forward to staying with Amobia and recommending it to even more people - but please address these issues above urgently.

Hi
Firstly, thank you for your kind words and for recommending us to your
friends.
We will be implementing a new billing/bandwidth rollover system within
the next six months, which should address the issues you mention below.
We are also committed to continue offering our products at
market-related prices and this is on the agenda for our next Executive
Committee meeting.
To compensate for the inconvenience, I've increased your cap by 1 GB.
This additional cap will expire at the end of September.
Kind regards,
Amobia Communications
