ANALYSIS: Cyril Ramaphosa has now become the problem

Cyril Ramaphosa is the sole reason we find ourselves in this mess. He is no leader. He is incapable of running the country and economics. Time for him to go. Not that anyone good is left to replace him, but there outcome of his leadership will be catastrophic for the whole country.

but would you vote for him?

if hypothetically he had to join the ANC, would anybody elect him to become part of the ANC top 6?
and that is my point, nobody would elect somebody non white to lead the ANC,

thats I always say Democracy does NOT work in Africa.
argue as much as you like, but look at Africas track record, MOST of the countries in Africa are dictatorships and poor,
even though they are sitting on a gold mine of natural resources and beauty.

so again, Democracy Doesn't work in Africa, never has, and probably never will.

This one is where the real cold water in the face happens..

Do you see the irony here while you are harping on about black people not wanting to elect white people? Has Britain ever had a black Prime minister?
 
Ramaphosa was always going to be a problem. People just overdid it with the koolaid when he beat Zuma 2.
 
The ANC is the problem and has been for over a decade now.

They enabled Zuma and they will prevent CR or anybody else from trying to sort the country out.

Them an their allies (unions). They either profit from the chaos or they are too scared to go against the unions.

Actually he is not quite right, but not quite wrong either. Let's unwrap it.

ANC before country. In that mess we see a lot of infighting, cronyism and self interest. Just think of the Rhamapoza vs Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma vote for president for the ANC, the kingmaker situations. Tribal lines played strongly in it.

This now filters down regionally where an ANC member of the correct tribe stands for the area. This is also why some are untouchable.

Yet take the voters for the ANC out of that area and put the with ANC voters from another area (different tribes) ... mayhem.

I could equally ask about the mayor of London, or the president of the USA. Will you find that in Africa?

I don't think CR is necessarily bad per se, I think he is smart and more than capable of running the country, BUT he is looking for a consensus model of leading and currently that is the worst thing for us. We need him to grow a backbone and make the unpopular decisions, to challenge (and beat) the unions etc etc... Stop trying to get people to agree, and just do shyte that we need done.

Don't be naive. The ANC is in charge, no matter what president they put in place they will do the bidding of and implement the ANC's policies.

Well that isn't always the case..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the ANC policy is to nationalise the SARB, and CR has batted that one squarely to touch...
 
We need someone like Moeletsi Mbeki in charge (of a new party obviously) and a bunch of ANC dissidents to join him. For those that don't know, he is nothing like his brother.

Like everywhere in the world the leadership reflects the majority demographic.

On that I partially wouldn't disagree.

I think anything that comes out of the ANC anymore is tainted beyond saving though.

We just need strong leadership that can and will make the tough unpopular decisions...
