ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule has, for the first time, revealed that the party wants EFF leader Julius Malema to return to the divided organisation.

“I love Julius. I am talking to him to return home,” Magashule said.

He said Malema must come back to the ANC with his supporters.

Magashule, who was flanked by national executive committee members Dakota Legoete and Obed Bapela, Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans’ Association spokesperson Carl Niehaus and provincial leaders such as Kenetswe Mosenogi, told ANC supporters while on the campaign trail in Ikageng township, in Tlokwe, North West today that he “loves” Malema.

This week, Malema said the EFF would consider coalition talks with the ANC after the May 8 general elections.
In 2012, Malema was expelled from his position as ANC Youth League president, as well as from the party, for allegedly sowing divisions and bringing the party into disrepute.
Magashule said black people were now smarter than white people. He said black pupils had proven former National Party leader Hendrik Verwoerd wrong by excelling in maths and science.

Indeed  but he might have a point considering you can now pass math by just being on the roster. Pass rate is so low that anyone can pass it even if they cannot operate a calculator.

I hope he is proven "right" by black people not to fall for this utter garbage of a retarded statement and if they indeed have improved literacy they will laugh these claims off for what it is.

Criminals like Ace need extra criminals around him so it is harder to put the main criminals in jail. Makes sense that he would love to hame Malema and his supporters on his side.

*awaits media and twittard outrage, job loss, fines etc etc*

Not half. Maybe 30 people, all of whom are old and will be out of politics in ten years.

The young comrades are more radical and just as corrupt.

For young and corrupt see Mabuza.

For radical see what they have done on university campuses.

It sounds like Magashule is sending a message to black voters that they should rather vote for EFFing Malema (as a way of further weakening Ramaphosa's position in the cANCer party).

That's probably the tactic. The Zuma faction within the ANC and the EFF are basically the same.

The amount of horse **** that these guys utter, they could start a booming fertilizer business.

South Africa has the worst maths and science scores in the word, I'm sure a spaza shop owner will do a better job of running this country and 25 years of experience, experience in what? Stealing and ****ing up the country?

But we all know that the masses fall for this kind of BS and come 8 May they will again vote ANC, and a week later complain that government is not doing anything for them but hey at least they had a nice party at Loftus!

Must be tempting for Malema, it'd solve future legal problems because they could use his support to get rid of CR. Thereby solving their mutual problem.

Don't think so. Malema hates Zuma and Ramaphosa. And he is right. Both, Zuma and Ramaphosa have destroyed South Africa. Zuma did it much more openly though. Every Dick Tom and Harry can see that. As soon as he became president, Ramaphosa made sure everybody could see what Zuma did. But Malema is not dumb. If you judge him wrong, you do it at your own peril. Ramaphosa & wider family, destroyed the mighty South African mining industry. Needles to say: Everyone involved became rich beyond imagination. Some are now USD Billionaires. Malema will eat Ramaphosa for breakfast but for now he has other priorities. #LiveWithIt
