ANC closes rank over Malema

The ANC closed ranks on ANC Youth League president Julius Malema's reported disciplinary hearing on Monday, refusing to confirm or deny that it was taking place.

Weekend reports quoted national executive committee member Derek Hanekom, as saying that Malema had been served notice of the hearing for Monday, and was expected to attend.

However, party spokesman Brian Sokutu said that nothing would be said about the "matter" -- not even to say that Hanekom had been inaccurately quoted on the existence of the hearing.

"If necessary a statement would be issued at a later date".

"We're not going to be commenting any further on this matter. It is an internal ANC matter, resolved within the structures of the ANC."

So if an AWB member called Zuma a boy, do they get to be allowed (yes, you know the additional word to be added there) have a internal hearing about their members bring their group into disrepute. (not that it can go any further)
 
Wow, it seems the ANC change spokesmen as often as I eat. There's like a new one every week!

Did Malema racially insult a specific person, as in your example above ?
 
Perhaps my understanding of "closing ranks" to that of The Times is different, but how is the ANC refusing to comment publicly about the DC, be construed as "closing rank"?
 
They won't confirm anything because there is nothing to confirm. Malema was only following instructions so there is no hearing. This is just going to be a get together of friends to discuss how they can further rape the country and where the best place is to spend the millions they ripped off from the people.

You must be, if you cannot see the link between what I'm saying and the corruption rampant in the anc, the blackmail used by zuma and malema to scare those who object to their "business dealings"/arms deal corruption, or the fact that singing songs of genocide, or forcing people to vote for a particular party, is an act of terrorism, both by those performing the action and those condoning it by their lack of action, which is then treated as if it's not a public issue, by both the anc and the ancyl...but then, you knew that, since you're not simple...just deliberately annoying.

If, as he has stated, he is an employee of the ANC, then the disciplinary enquiry is confidential as per BCOE and Labour Law.

However, as a populist and public organisation, the ANC will have to make known an abridged version of the outcome of the enquiry. They do not need to provide ANY details.

Failing to do this will cause them even more harm than what Juli-Ass has already caused them.

Your sneeze analogy/diversion of the crimes means you may just be simple...A thought reinforced by the attitude you have shown towards foreign Africans, in the thread about the Mozambican builder workers, that brutally assaulted the baby recently. You're rather shallow. Like the anc.

They're on some cruise ship discussing the matter with a bevy of boose, beauties and awesome food.

The success of that politically aligned marketing machine sometimes referred to as mad bucket has to be celebrated.

Sure, the ANC call the celebration a "disciplinary hearing", but we all know that the cadre's love a good party, and that's why the cadre ANC members failed to show up in most places they were supposed to show up allover the country today.

It's PARTY time!
