Don't agree. They had that on their "agenda" before they were in power. So why test the waters?

I've observed John Robbie over the few years that I've listened to him... Some of the things he says leave me :wtf: and :confused: ... I think it's old age.

It's normal for older people to be more sympathetic ...

I have been saying the same for a good few years already... JuJu, the Litmus Tester!
 
now the wait till the next appeal.
and then the wait and see who the next fool is to take the job.
Malema is not unique... many followers with the same ideas, the next guy may even be worse
hopefully he'd get the same treatment
hopefully the ANCYL population will grow some maturity and responsibility, even just plain logic, in their reasoning.
alas... me not holding my breath :-(

The youth league can't afford to defy the ANC anymore than they already have. And remember it is the leadership that would be in defiance and the ANC will simply disband the entire youth league executive and force an election of new leaders. So, those left in the YL don't want to follow Malema & Shivambu into the wilderness - there's no coming back for Shivambu either.
 
I will support Malema wholeheartedly in the creation of his own political group.

This is so that the ANC's voter base will get diluted - making it easier for the DA to take Gauteng.

Malema barely got elected onto the Limpopo PEC, so he doesn't command much of a voter base. People want to be in the ANC where there's access to state resources. Watching what happened with COPE is enough motivation, but it might be enough to earn him a salary as a one man party for a while. And it is usually the opposition support that gets eroded by such small parties.

It would be naive of us to think that Malema wasn't the Litmus to the ANC's agenda. For every agenda you need a speaker, someone that can reel the nation in using the media and other resources as its drag.

I have heard many speakers in my day and some are very convincing, so much so that one has to reflect on the content as usually when something is too good to be true it isn't.
In regards to a plant (someone placed to steer the mood) we had someone like that in our Ratepayers Association who altered the thinking of the committee and in so doing a rather major decision on a development was approved in the end. It turned out this person was indeed an ANC Spindoctor.
The community are wiser now, but nothing to stop another spindoctor, be they ANC or whatever in the future to sway opinion and decisions, it happens everyday in real life. There is usually a agenda for everything, be it hidden or not.
 
Malema... although a d00s, removing him wont change anything, it will just supress information that comes out the ANC...
Malema is the symptom, but the disease goes alot deeper; and malemas downfall is that he used ANC opinions to get points for himself and the ANCYL.

Now the little yapping dog is gone, the 'theives' can continue without the public knowing what they are up to.

Yeah, when Thabo Mbeki got dethroned and gave that oh-woe-is-me farewell speech on TV, I was tempted to feel sorry for the guy as well.. but then I remembered all the chit he pulled off while in office, and my tune quickly changed to -- gtfo now.

It's easy to be soft on these bastards when they're on the receiving end, but we must always remember what they have done in the past.

Malema was a tool, but a willing one, and thrived in his role; many times he promoted a race war in this country -- as far as I'm concerned he should be put in a dark dingy corner of SA and left there to be forgotten.

I do not see many DA supporters joining Malema's party

Even if he had some political power outside of the ANC, those supporters would vote for his party. I'm not sure how you're coming to the conclusion that they would all of a sudden vote DA...:confused:
