Political party issues aside, heres the quote of the week.

Announcing his resignation in Durban, Mhlongo said he had left the African National Congress because it promoted corruption.

"I will never vote a corrupt ANC into office. I am prepared to be called a snake, a dog and a baboon rather than endorsing a party and its leader, Jacob Zuma, whose moral values have declined worse than a Zimbabwean dollar."
How fitting. :D

Mhlongo

My point is, can he back his words? "I will never vote a corrupt ANC into office."

I am all for a politician who is prepared to leave the ruling party.

But will he deliver? No mater what party he goes to.

Will he be honest/transparent? Are we sure he will not be corrupt, that is my question.

As far as turds go, accepted, actually, my family is from Poland, well actually when it was part of DE before recent/last century history of wars.

So yes technically I am a descendant of a Polish Turd, Fook me, thanks for revealing that to me,

I feel enlightened

Thanks

Yes my dear troll.

that's one sh1tty family tree then huh

Yeah too true, it is a real hassle, I'm white. But fighting to stay in this country with multiple options to leave to EU.

have a look at history.

It is a bitch of a subject, trust me it took a few decades for me to understand it.

Sometimes it helps to know the past, hmm sometimes it repeats itself

But, as a DE IRE mongrel, I cannot comment any more.

However, Sneeky posts a valid issue,

I hope that it helps you & I.

Honestly, lets hope COPE or whatever make a difference.

I hope we concur even if I am mongrel????

The ANC's head of policy in KwaZulu-Natal resigned a day before he was due to appear before a disciplinary committee, the party said on Thursday.

ANC provincial spokesperson Nomfundo Mcetywa said Siyanda Mhlongo was meant to have appeared before the party's disciplinary committee on Friday for failing to execute his duties.

Mhlongo joined the Congress of the People.

"We are not surprised by his resignation. Our party was not happy with his conduct. He absconded from work."

Why did he wait until there was a possibility that he might get sacked?

This guy was probably going to be fired by the "new" ANC, so he wants to look legit. Maybe he is legit.
I honestly don't take anything seriously from former ANC members (now joining COPE) or the new ANC members anyway. Politicians will say anything to look good.

There is no proof that it was ANC members.
It was only people wearing ANC T-shirts.
