Because people in Japan vote for their own and I am called an aparthied lover ? Just because the chinese folk vote for their own people ? Maybe if the red people of America would also want that kind of thing , but now unfortunately they cant .

The word democracy is just a word and a concept , in reality it doesnt work that way . Like I said I dont have a problem voting for a white person as long as they stand for what i beleive in but the majority of people see their own . You go to the countries I mentioned , the majority will vote for their own . Whether its 1st world , India , Japan or SA .

Please to hear that you will vote for a white person if you agreed with their policies. Cant fault you on the DA either. I dont like their politics either. As far what other countries do, it should be irrelevant. Yes. many people do vote based on race in those countries, but the difference between South Africa and those countries is that thse people are in the minority. Because it happens, doesnt make it right. Why are you referring to other racists then ? It doesnt suport your argument, just contradicts what you said about being willing to vote for a white person.

Your missing the point. We don't need a viable alternative. All we need is an opposition that isn't uselessly weak. If the ANCs majority is threatened then they will sort their shlt out asap.

In other words always vote for the second most powerful party irrespective of who they are. If one party is all powerful then they can and will get away with corruption & incompetence. Shouting about the corruption won't help.

Ideal voting balance imo:
ANC 45% (Given demographics they realistically need to be the leading country)
DA 40% (Keeping the ruling party on their toes)
Rest 15%

That way nobody can push through policies that are clearly BS without a coalition.

Thats the way majority of people vote . Maybe its about mistrust the world over . Maybe in England they will be thinking ' If we vote for the Windian guy he is going to bring his brothers from Africa " , thats how the world operates . look at the parties in this country , the underlying tone is that they stand with someone because of some tribal or racial thing .

Yes, we do, and it's the only one, they are called the DA, and they have very efficent and sucessful policies, and too have their "roots in the liberal anti-Apartheid movement of the 1960s, 70s and 80s, during which time a series of its predecessor parties were led by anti-Apartheid activists like Helen Suzman, Colin Eglin, Harry Schwarz and Frederik van Zyl Slabbert.", ever since early apartheid, they have been true,please resarch those people, especially zille and tony leon and such.
