Yeah ... is it just me or did that seem like a great big PR exercise to show how "uncorrupt" the new administration will be?

they did promise to take corruption seriously.
maybe they see it as an image problem...

must say helen has gone some way to help in diverting attention from them by joining their YL & veterans in the mud bath.

Maybe, maybe not. Unfortunately time will be the only judge of whether this is an actual policy shift.

Yeah - I'm not buying that one.

Helen says JZ is a womaniser.

ANCYL says she's a racist, and a girl, and sexist, and a whore, and has concubines, and sleeps around.

MK Vets say the same thing and threaten her with militant action.

A week later, Helen has long since gotten on with life and hasn't even replied to the Inkwenks -- and people are still claiming she's embroiled in a mudbath.

I need some explanation on that one because it makes no sense to me.
 
He accepted it in the first place, only handed back after the media got hold.

Actually that was a letter addressed to DA supporters and it was mailed on 15 May. Yes, last week, and Business Day decided to publish it online almost a week later.
