This is the problem, LTT is being run like a frat house.
So there is no doubt in my mind that they aren't explicitly told to behave like this is a work environment.
Some of these guys have never held a real job in their lives and then joined the frat party.
I have no doubt that she was facing both sexual advances (hey, want to bang, hey look at your t!ts, etc.) and gender stereotyping (woman suck <insert thing here>)
In comparison, in my current company, it is not only spelled out in your contract, it is a first week thing where it is made VERY clear to you that sexual, racial or any political discussions are not for the work place. And if someone reports you, you will face disciplinary action including the possibility of termination.
Plenty of people will say that is harsh, but the reality is, 99% of the time, when someone already reported you to HR, you've gone WAY too far.
I mean in our workplace I know a few people that got fired under this clause and the sh#t was crazy. Like getting drunk at a work function and then whipping d!ck out in front of a bunch of woman. Going to a work function dinner and calling someone the K-word. Getting wasted while meeting external candidates at a university meet and greet and harassing the female students.
This sh#t happens people. There are some really unhinged people out there and you'd be surprised how many of them there are around you. You give them any kind of alcohol (which shows their true person) or any reason to think they can get away with something and they take it beyond too far.
