Sorry, but I fail to see how 3 ministries will solve the problem.

What is the difference between one ministry with 3 divisions that focus on the 3 areas, or 3 ministries with one division?

The answer? 3 comrades will now get "top" posts as heads of ministries, instead of just 1.

It is not like they will actually take responsibility for the departments...

That poor train ran out of steam ages ago, only momentum keeps it going. Adding more carriages will only slow it down quicker

Lol. What a way to remove the blame the head of the department factor, now they can just perpetually pass the buck. And, as this is still a single portfolio, does this mean the ANC can use this method to increase their votes in parliament? They're on the verge of losing their 2/3rds majority, maybe this is a loophole to keep that majority in the voting stakes?
