ANC will regain Western Cape - Fransman

Wishful thinking. The ANC won't gain WC and will also lose Gauteng and the Northern Cape. Now is the time to stem their tide of incompetence and self-enrichment.
 
Having recently traveled to the Western Cape from EC and seeing how things actually RUN and FUNCTION there, I doubt ANC filth will take it back, only by hook and crook which they are however extremely good at.

I really hope they don't! The day people realize that ANC is doing no good will be great! I'm very interested for next elections, I think the next 1-4 elections are going to be very interesting!
 
I've worked under the ANC and the DA in Cape Town... the 2 don't differ all that much, the DA is just alot better at keeping the corruption under the lid! The ANC just weren't smart enough! Fortunately I don't work for local gov anymore!

Start at the procurement dept, you won't have to go any further! The ANC had serious tender fraud, my exec dir(ANC) was know as Mr 10% for his tender assistance. Under the DA consultants were/are? earning a fortune, in my dept a full time staff member would earn around 15-20K pm, while a contracted consultant earned 50K+, for the same or similar job! That's corruption, hence why I left, I told management it's unacceptable, they told it there's nothing they can do about it! The people I contracted in to assist me earned as much as 4x what I earned in a month, even though the results were on my head! I had 10 years of this type of BS under the ANC and DA gov... yes I know what I'm talking about!

If i may ask when did you leave?

DA seems to be at least getting things done, maybe they are paying salaries that are higher than they should but if its getting stuff done its better than the ANC did.

The local election seems to indicate massive gains for the DA after the general election. I think all should be safe...
 
Where does the ANC sit on the political spectrum anyway? Is it left? Right? If it's either, then who is opposite to them ideologically? Who can say? The only definitive statement we can make about them is that they want power.

Contractors always earn more but they don't get sick leave, medical aid, pensions etc etc.

It isn't corruption, it's incompetence on behalf of the people in the department. If they could do the job there should be no need to bring in external 'consultants'.

If you can show that the person who brought them in owned the company to which they belonged then you might have a case to call corruption.
