just finished looking at the ANC YL website, what a load of bollocks!
Spelling errors, Type-o's; grammatical errors, you name it. I know English is not the first language it's constituents but come one, if you going to do something do it right FFS.

Does this not reveal the level of "educated intelligence" in South Africa? Twitter has more chance of closing the ANCYL (and everyone said "And so say all of us") than vice-versa. They're behaving like spoilt children who throw a tantrum every time they do not get their own way. Tut-tut! Shame! Diddums! Give the babies some anti-colic medicine on their pacifiers (wonder why they called them "dummies" when I was young?) and put them to bed. Perhaps tomorrow they would have forgotten all this as a bad/wet dream! We have regressed a million-fold since 1994. No hope for SA apart from intellectual oblivion as SA, too, slides into obscurity.

Got to give the ANCYL full points for best joke of the day. Even threatening to have Twitter closed just shows the level of ignorance and stupidity we are dealing with here :erm:

I know most people don't take them seriously any more, but they will make up a good part of the next generation of ANC leaders and therefore the country's leaders. We already have perfect examples in Fikile Mbalula and Jackie Selebi etc. It is actually frightening and really sad, they're starting to just make me angry instead of making me laugh these days. Disgusting that they can worm their way into positions of power when the average person on the street is far more capable and deserving.

Oh my ****ing Flying spaghetti monster. If only we had more of this. Probably the cause of 80-90% of the world's dumbassery. Wish the ANC youth league were interested in learning whatsoever, might have made the world a slightly better place.

Twitter themselves will probably chuckle at the enquiry, especially after they find out who they actually are.
 
this is so sad, not because they think that they can shut down twitter, they just don't grasp how the world works or how big twitter is or how it really works. so ****ing sad
 
One of the papers, this morning, I don't remember which one, just caught a looksee on the roadside:

Frontpage with bug photo of JuJu, and saying "I'm no twit!"

I laughed.

Considering this is the YOUTH league, we can assume they have people on board that have been educated post '94.

...so, what else can use to explain their poor use of the English language?

Aha! I've got it! It must be those lower pass marks for the ANCYL target base, as legislated by the 'real' ANC, as opposed to the non-BEE citizens of this country.
