You don't need an education :D to know that destroying something decent is plain stupid, you do need a brain though.

As marine says maybe if they used their brain and voted out the anc they would get the education :D they need.

So we got no education, we are poor. Let's go destroy shyte to show how angry we are, we must always remember that no matter how bad things get for us the ANC will help and we must vote for them.

That doesn't sound very apealling ...

It seems that you have a comprehension issue. The DA, while running CT, build the people toilets based on a meeting with the residents where it was decided that because of a shortage of funds, the residents would erect their own walls. This was all discussed in the threat about the toilets being build without walls.

After the whole show the ANC have created surrounding that, the DA decided to build the walls the ANCYL have now broken down. So what is better? To have now walls, or to have corrugated enclosures? At least it is private, no?

The ANCYL, if they really wanted to act in the best interest of the residents, would have highlighted to problems they foresee with the corrugated enclosures, and then assisted the DA and the residents in correcting the issues. Unfortunately, the ANCYL, is not interested in building anything, but only scoring cheap publicity.

Hence why they got toilets at all. But the ANCYL doesnt like the ANC being upstaged.

From what I understood they had the toilets - they got the enclosures which were subsequently destroyed by the ANCYL and not by the residents themselves?

The people I quoted may have been caught up in their own rhetoric. :o

Yeah, sorry, thats true. They had toilets but were forced to do their business out in the open.

Remind me why people support the ANCYL and ANC again?
 
totally unrelated to the point i was making to peterch. amazing how these bigots think every thing is always a anc problem like they were never there or created before the anc came into power, and more so that a simple vote would solve the deepset injustices and gap between rich and poor that the past created. you bigots live like fusking kings compared to most of the world, something which was unfairly afforded to you because of the past. how will a vote help when the province is already DA, only other thing you could be saying is that Dan Plato would treat them better by providing walled off toilets if he knew they voted DA?

I understand and agree with waht you said. My post was taken out of context and misunderstood because it was a reply to PeterCh. All i'm saying is i'd like to see this MyBB bigots in their shoes.

Yeah, they voted DA, so they were getting the toilet cover that the ANC had promised but not delivered. And the ANCYL destroyed them. So, remind me how what the ANCYL was good for this community? How did they enhance service delivery?

At the end of the day, it's sad that the plight of people living in conditions like these is abused for political gain. It's disgusting.

Makes me wonder if ANY of the political parties actually have the people's interests at heart.

I would only be able to guess as I am a DA supporter and I donot know much about the ANCYL.

I have gathered that they still feel the injustices of the past need to be addressed better and faster.

(possibly most important) They seem to be quite seperate from the ANC itself so maybe they are also p1ssed off that the ANC are doing very little about uplifting likes of those that need it so they take it on themselfs (ANCYL). Probably trying to fight/break things to show they too want better quality of life that their families were prevented from having by lack of edumacations and goos job opportunities.

That's how i would feel if i had to p1ss and **** in public.
