The community choose to built the enclosures of their own accord. The ANCYL is using this to their political advantage because some members of the community (a small minority, mind you) chose to ignore the agreement they signed.

I can guarantee you this will never be allowed to happen again in the Western Cape as a result of these political players. Residents will be forced to share toilets with other houses in future, as per the ANC government standard, and will never ever be accommodated by reaching an agreement with the community. If you don't want to share, tough. You forfeited that right when you used that opportunity for political gain. You don't like it then ensure the ANC led national government provides more money for housing upgrades and less for Mercs and Beemers.
 
I don't understand. People across the country complain of poor service delivery every day etc. Then when a municipality tries to rectify the matter their work gets destroyed. Thats our money that has gone to waste here. IMO the ANCYL should cover the costs of repair, in fact JuJu can sell his watch and help this poor community out.

Makes me sick.
 
If I walked to my library and started breaking windows and setting things alight I would be arrested, why aren't these people being arrested?
 
One thing that bugs me is how the ANCYL are champions of virtue when it comes to a problem that can be construed as the DA's fault, but when the Red Ants evict squatters under the ANC's instructions, you don't hear a peep out of them. Interesting to see how they hand-pick who gets to be protected and who doesn't.

The ANC disregards FAR more human rights than the DA does. Not that it makes it any better in either case :mad:

They were given the OPTION and they AGREED! Did you not read the link? Next time the b*****ds must share with 8 other families as per government policy. Never again will their request to have their own toilet be accommodated because of some short sighted fools.

I did read the link. You fail to realize that not everyone would have agreed.
 
This place South Africa is not where near reconciliation ... Its way too said to expect a group of people to leave under inhuman conditions with which none of the commentators would survive an hour given a chance and expect others to be glad they have something for free. This forum sometimes makes me sick sometimes! But hey, i guess it reminds some of us of the reality and true feelings, reason i stumble in here to read these unpalatable views ...

They agreed though do you dispute that?

Sonex if i had nothing and was pissing in a bush and open to the public and then i was given a toilet with no cover i would have made a plan dude. Then when they get covers the covers are not up to the high standards the very poor expect.

No gold plated door handles, i mean WTF were they thinking giving them such rubbish

Do you dispute that the community is made up different people with differeing opinions about the toilets?

You need to get real ! I've used toilets far worse than the ones that were destroyed, and was happy for the privilege.

Who will pay for that ? Where will the money come from ?

IT'S THIS CULTURE OF ENTITLEMENT THAT WILL DESTROY THIS COUNTRY, AS IT ALREADY HAS MOST OF AFRICA !

Look how this bigot states that a metal/concrete partitioned toilet house is a Rolls Royce toilet compared to an unpartitioned metal/concrete toilet house.
