I don't know the chronology of things but I sort of hope Vader has no part in season 2. Would prefer the death Star being developed by some other department (ISB etc) in the empire, even just at his request will be ok. I prefer these a Star Wars things without the big names, partly why I didn't care for Skywalker in Mandalorian.

Not having Jedi has been the best thing about Andor.

I really hope they don't retcon Rogue One. There is no need for that.
The only thing I will (grudgingly) accept is that Andor somehow survives at the end of Rogue One...
I dunno.... maybe a ship swoops down and plucks them up at the last minute.

That would be a retcon fam. It was implied at the end of Rouge One that he gets vaporised.

Droids have always been a tricky subject in Star Wars.

They very clearly have emotions and feelings, if not sentient, yet they are often treated like garbage and seen as disposable.

I think they going to continue with Andor.

It's one of the SW success stories to fix the rest.

I like where it ended. Andor went from dgaf to someone invested in a cause. As cool as it was seeing the Death Star - I'm apprehensive about such familiar things appearing and being the door to more familiar stuff. I like Mandalorian and Andor when it feels like it's in the Star Wars universe but distant from the movies.

Will definitely watch season 2 - the Death Star stuff might be great if it's in there. They seem to be keeping these Star Wars series with limited seasons so can't imagine this going on beyond 2 or 3 seasons.
