Android apps, what free ones would you suggest?

I would prefer free but if not a paid for alternative would be welcome.

Office stuff:
Is there anything like open office for android?

Security stuff:
What anti malware would you suggest I use?
What "full proof" phone tracker would you suggest?

Game stuff:
Angry Birds
???

Other:
Whatsapp
Street view

Seekdroid, news24, bbcnews, camcard, app killer, FNB, juicedefender, documents to go, imdb, translate, goggles, shazam, firefox, GTA 3, currents, wikipedia, night vision camera, stick cricket, waze, polaris office, AVG antivirus, skype, chaton.

Those are the few which I have.
 
Office Stuff:

My {Samsung} phone came pre installed with polaris office which handles all office documents {I think} this might be free on the market {I'm not sure}

I also picked up office suite pro and quick office pro at amazons free app of the day, through I think they cost $15 each for the pro versions.

Security:

I don't use anti malware, I don'y think its needed if you read user comments and only download apps from the google play or amazon app store.

I use where's my droid but havn't actually tested it yet...

Game stuff:

Depends what you want...
I have angry birds {all of them}, temple run, zenonia 3 and 4, defender 1 and 2 and they keep me more than busy and they all free.

And just for fun I installed baldurs gate 2 on my phone as well through not really to play it just to see if I could do it, it wouldn't be that fun anyway with the tiny 4.3" screen.

Free apps kills your battery life. Games (not free) Jelly Defense is great Air Penguin is also quite good
 
Avast mobile security, check out the anti theft app. Works better if you root first though, then it is completely theft proof

Will be holding out on rooting till someone can give me a decent reason to do so.

This is the reason, once rooted the anti theft program is impossible to remove, even doing a factory reset or installing a new rom won't remove it
 
I have taken a scroll through there, was a little overwhelming, hence this post :)

RE Rooting, I'll look into it a bit more and decide if it is in fact worth it for me to do or not.

Warranty vs finding a stolen phone. Seems risky both ways.
 
Most of the pro's on the xda developer forums strongly advise against using task killer apps like juicedefender etc, it messes around with the android OS, which manages running tasks in it's own way. And free ram is wasted ram.
