Android internet and mms settings

Forgot to mention device; Samsung Galaxy S.

Hi.

I am also using a Samsung Galaxy S, and have not yet managed to get the MMS settings right. I have entered everything as above but on my GalaxyS I do not have the option to set my MMS Protocol to Wap 2.0 ??? That option is missing? Any help?

I am a new Galaxy owner so I still have a lot to figure out. Can anyone give me some advise on how to upgrade to Froyo as well?

Hi, i have a Galaxy S.
I could not get my MMS working with the settings above.
Then i deleted the MMS APN and at the bottom of the virgin_internet(vdata) APN, in APN type i selected Internet + MMS and now my MMSes are working.

Hi.

I have it exactly like that and it still does not work. I will delete this APN and redo it like that again just to check, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to work. (BTW: I am very frustrated with Virgin's Customer service, I've been phoning them every day to get help with this, but they say the Technical department can't take calls, they can only log a query for them to call me. BUT THEY NEVER DO!!! But I guess you are all familiar with this problem, otherwise you would not be asking each other for assistance instead of them... :P

I am trying this at this very moment... but the message has been "sending" for about 10 minutes now... I am amusing that my MMS issues are far from over :(

Update:

I just received my 1st MMS with the settings like this... So THANKS.... But my message is still sending (15 mins later) ... Halfway there...

Final update:

MMS works perfectly now, and its such an easy solution... Why didn't I think of this. Someone should tell Virgin's Customer Service how it's done.
