Android market pushed back

Why do we South Africans always get shafted??

No paid apps? What's the point of having the market then, some of the best apps are the paid ones...

Although we could install a new ROM on the phone which unlocks the android market... :-)

"Cupcake, also known as Android 1.5 allows users to watch videos in camcorder mode, upload clips to YouTube directly from the device. Additionally it features a new soft keyboard with an auto complete function, new widgets and folders and the ability to automatically connect to a Bluetooth headset within a certain distance."

Have you got the Magic? That came with 1.5 AFAIK.

The devices will be flashed, returning them to factory settings and deleting all Leaf Open Market applications installed.

The Leaf Open Market was a local application developed to provide South Africans with the opportunity to download select Android applications.

The way these 2 statements are phrased seems to imply that Leaf's Open Market doesn't have much of a future?

Well my HTC sync doesn't want to install.

Product: HTC Driver -- HTC Driver requires that your computer is running Windows Vista or Windows XP
