Android smartphone benchmark comparison

But the Galaxy Nexus has a 1280 X 720 screen res, while some of the others have 800 X 480.

Not a fair comparison and a bit pointless, to be honest.

Only problem I have with benchmarks is that it doesnt compare apples with apples... Esp when it comes to performance on screen

each phone has a different screen resolution so it takes more horse power to animate 1300 fullscreen triangles on 1280x1024 than 800x400.

Anyway my DHD hides its(1 year old) head in shame... 3309 :(
And my Xperia play is 3006... odd seeing that on paper its the same specs

My phone is last on the list :( But I am happy with it. Just wondering what it would be like twice as fast though ;) But with RMB250, it fits nicely into my budget.

Well, my galaxy s with an early build for ICS CM9 gets 2924, which is basically the same as the Nexus S. Such lies samsung when you say you can't build ICS for the galaxy s...

Yes, it is. Maybe not in SA though.

Damn, I was hoping that it might have been a "SA release". I just wish Google would us know what the hell was going on with regards to the ICS update for the Nexus S

Note kicks ass and it doesn't even have ICS yet. And it has a 1280x800 screen. Looks like I'll be loving my phone for a long time :D

Dude that thing is not a phone, its a tablet that can make phone calls :)

... and in other news my Galaxy S is now officially obsolete :(
