Android Tablet Toy or can it be usefull?

Good Read Thanks!

You are welcome, I use to work a lot with Siemens PLC's esp with the Beckhoff systems and I must admit the whole Android ADK thing looks really promising.

I am very tempted to go back into that field.

My biggest concern is that it will end up sitting in my drawer. So ja could purchase a laptop to do the same but, it's not as portable, I just feel like i'm trying to convice myself its a good thing.

You can always get both as one device.

This way you can use it just as a tablet or as a netbook. Both sections have a battery so battery life is really long and the keyboard will charge the tablet. I really like the look of this thing.

Edit: I see Elimentals beat me to it.

Hey guys so it has been decided, I am now the very happy owner of the Acer iconica, decided against the Asus cause of lack of 3g and I don't think my nokia c5 is capable of providing internet.

Congrats, I'm still pondering on getting one in the near future and also wanted Asus but the Acer Iconia seems like a great Android Tablet!

acer seem pretty cool has micro and normal usb, hdmi and micro sd card reader. 3G and 32GB internal memory so its upgradable to 64GB memory. Whos the cheapest 3G access at the moment?
