Android unlock patterns are easy to copy

And they leave a smear in the shape on the screen

If you use a pattern to unlock you obviously aren't too concerned about security. This doesn't surprise anyone.

Fortunately any moderately modern phone has fingerprint unlock.

I used to be a stickler for pattern locks, until I reached a point where the screen is just too damned big, now I only use PIN locks.

The situation likely changes if you turn off displaying the lines as you draw them...

I don't use that anymore. Iris and/or fingerprint recognition is faster and safer.

Yeah the pattern is too def easier compared to the other methods

My 7 year old is an expert at this. No matter what I make the pattern.

Or course, I would choose no security at all since everything on my phone is synced. The problem is connecting to the wifi at work since the Cisco certificate requires some security enabled before it will allow a connection to the AP's at the office

Most of the patterns people use I agree completely but that said, I have a friend that takes around 15 seconds to put his pattern in. Seriously complex...

I have a pin unlock that changes the location of the keys every time the phone is unlocked for this very reason.
