Android Useful Apps

I was never in a relationship with Samsung... I am quite committed to Android though  I was just using Samsung to get to Android...

I don't get that part. My 1st experience with Android was a Sony Xperia.

Trying out Ginger, one thing that I like over Swftkey is no autospace. However, I am not seeing predictions, and Switkey's long press characters are very useful.
Found out my problem with predictions. There is no Afr dictionary, hence no predictions. Why they even have Afr as a language beats me.

FWIW, to change the language, long press on space and slide left or right while holding down.

Another thing I miss from Swiftkey is the arrow keys.

[/edit]It seems kills Tapatalk after making an entry.

Yes, if doesn't do it automatically, you just mark it as spam and future hits will go into a spam folder, that folder doesnt do notifications.

Notice tabs at the bottom.

Quite annoyed! Got a new Samsung Galaxy A5 today (yes, not the flashiest or latest phone but fitted into my budget) and am gobsmacked to find that it doesn't have a notification LED for messages (both sms and whatsapp) or email! Are there any apps that might get around this problem?

Different strokes, etc. I hate the notification LED...

What exactly are you looking for. If it doesn't have a LED there is not much you can do, or am I misunderstanding the problem here. Does it have one, but no setting in the apps to manage the colour etc?

It apparently doesn't have one on the phone. Look, it's not the end of the world and I'm sure I'll live without it. My incredulity is more directed at the monumental moron at Samsung who decided that this phone didn't need this basic function.

Is it just me?! :wtf:
