Android Useful Apps

Buzz Launcher is by far the best launcher on the market. It beats Apex and Nova hands down and finally you don't have to be a geek to properly customise your phone. Just browse others' screens and download everything you need a one installable file...

This is amazing! hmmm...people should definitely be posting about this in the "Show of your Android Homescreens" thread. Thanks for good find!

+1.

Just trying this out and seems awesome. Thanks DJ

Will be sharing screens soon.

What is the difference between the two? As far as I can tell, with glympse you can set a timer to being followed?

Looks like that is the main difference, also with glympse you dont need to sign up and it doesn't seem to constantly run in the background.

CyanDelta - allows you to update your CM Nightlies by only downloading the changed / updated (delta) files instead of downloading the entire new nightly.

Anyone know of an app that records video and simultaneously uploads it offsite/online?

I believe if you have enabled Google+ autoupload feature, it will upload all photos and videos. You can set it to only do it over wifi, but you also have the option to do it over the mobile data connection.

I do this with Dropbox. It'll upload all my pics over wifi at home. Awesome backup to have every single photo I have ever taken on dropbox. Especially if I flash a new rom every other week :D

TouchPal just updated with new word prediction. Like the one you saw on blackberry 10. Only limiting factor in my view would be the lack of Afrikaans. Swipe functionality is on par with the others on the market.

And that is why SwiftKey will remain my alpha keyboard. Besides, SK's awesome :D

Doesn't bug me but yeah I know other people it does. If I want to text in Afrikaans I just swipe on the spacebar to turn spell check off. This happens to only one person in my contact list.
