How does the new Touchpal predictive text work? I can see it predicting words but I don't know how to tell it which word to actually use. There's a selection of three at the top, but those popup words on the keyboard are what I'm talking about. I tried pressing the space bar - it just added a space. I tried enter. It just entered. I tried clicking the words but that didn't work.

So how does one use it?

And its crap. 1st It opens Doc files as PDF from Google drive and then to add insult they removed all other cloud access that came with the normal ones.

But I guess for people that do not own a proper mobile office suite its ok.

Just slide the word to spacebar.

Also slide up on a key to use capital and down for funny characters like @ and so on. Taping on delete will will remove one letter at a time, but sliding from right to left delete words at a time.

Once you get the hang of some of the gestures this app becomes super potent.

No, it seems to convert them. I tried to open a spreadsheet but Quickoffice opened it as a pdf.
I'm very disappointed Quickoffice has had a good reputation but Google really seem to have gimped it. Can't seem to use multiple accounts, cant seem to work with other cloud services, (Dropbox) etc. Just seems like an "offline" version gdocs.
Took the extra 10Gb but don't see myself using the app.

I was not a fan of it until this new update. Figured out how to do the above, thanks. They've vastly improved their accuracy and prediction system and it works really well now. Previously I'd have to change every 3rd word with my fat fingers and didn't have that issue with Swype or Swift, but TouchPal feels far better these days. Also taking advantage of the word prediction that you swipe down to the spacebar. Works quite well...

Is there anyway to theme the lockscreen shortcut icons? I've used Widgetlocker but find it doesn't play nice with all my icon packs.

Apparently the iOS and Android versions have been pulled on account of it being buggy.

Nah. There was a leak for Android which pulled 1.1 million registrations in 8 hours. Apparently this leak was buggy and was giving the servers some problems, so they blocked the leak and stopped the roll out for Android.

iOS is continuing and the Android release will be staggered.
