Android Useful Apps

Dropped it like its hot.

And now back to normal viewing.

Nah, no point in arguing about software aimed at OS's when devices are brought in to the picture. Android is android, does not matter if its running on a tablet or phone, only slight variations in a few places.

For those with the moto g here is a link to the nexus launcher which allows you to use the "OK google" command from your home screen without having to touch the little mic on top. I've been using for the past few days and have had no problems

I've got the HTC One the the Google launcher works with it too. You just need KitKat I think. Unfortunately you need to change your phone to English US for the "Ok Google" to work and I couldn't live with that for long...

It works quite well on my phone and it only works on US English on my phone as well

I have language set to UK English, and the google launcher works perfectly.

Used it for a few days, prefer Nova. Thanks for the heads up though

Best keyboard ever, have bought it twice already, back when landscape split was only in the tablet version.

I second that. It did stop working for a while when something went wrong with my S3's software, but uninstalled and reinstalled, and it's running like a dream.

The cloud sync feature actually proved to be quite useful with owning a phone and tablet. The new theme is also pretty nice, too bad I cannot gt my 10 free themes as my playservices is apparently out of date and I can see no update.

Got the new themes as a thank you. Now I'm going to have to change the theme regularly to get my money's worth... But it was worth it. Glad to see them extending their functionality. 3 languages simultaneously!

Yesterday installed "Screen Time Parental Control" to control and monitor my kids' tablet usage. Only my first day, but seems like a winner!

Also "SD Insight" to confirm if SD cards purchased legit or not...not really useful after I've bought card, but ja...

Finally, "Flib - a converter with memory" - pretty neat and sexy for converting between different measuring units...even data!
