Android Useful Apps

Google Keep seems like a very useful App so I installed it on my BlackBerry Priv earlier. Is it supposed to upload new notes to my Google Drive automatically and keep files in sync?

In the mean time I have been doing much research and testing, but did not find an answer yet.

I see one can click upload to drive, but then there are duplication of files. I don't see options to configure synchronisation?

No, install the Google keep chrome app. It syncs notes, lists, reminders etc

Any applications available where I can transfer contacts from a Samsung Galaxy S5 to a Sony Xperia Z2 ?

Sync them via your Google account?
+1. I never use any 3rd party app for that. Google does everything for me. Doesn't matter what device I'm using. When I add my Gmail account everything is there.

Even when I setup my iPad with my Gmail account all my contacts was automatically synced on there.

Anything you save in Keep will be synced to your account. So if you open akeep on another device it will be there. Automatically.

What do you want to set, what's not working?

I were under the impression that Keep is sync with Drive, but noticed my files is not in Drive automatically but in Keep. So my question is, does Keep use Google Drive for storage space?

I think it does, but you can't access the notes via Drive.

In the Android version there is an option to "Copy to Google Doc" so you can move them across to Drive that way if you need to

That is what I am currently doing yes, but it does not allow for selecting any specific folder and just copies the files the the drive root.

Ok. So I am right then. It is just the way it works.

if you want to acess it on mutliple devices you need eitther the app or web browser keep.google.com - I see thers a chrom app as well now

Its linked to your google account so i have access to it from all my android devices and on browser, as well as certain keep notes linked to other people.

Shopping lists notes etc.

So I just bought my first R150 Google Play voucher at PNP. I purchased the nova Prime launcher and power tools. I am using tiktool but the paid for version is still too expensive. Which other (cheap) apps is a must have for BlackBerry Priv users?

Yes I have never purchased apps in my life. Now with the Google App store I find the free apps with ads annoying.

Yes I'm afraid that after forking out cash for Priv, it is tough to put more cash into it. I still need pouch and glass protection.

Nice thing is those apps are linked to your account. 4 phones later and I can still use an app I bought on my s2 years ago.

Let me rephrase my question, are there any must have apps in the Google Play Store for BlackBerry Priv users?

You are running Android. Android is android, nothing really special about the Priv that needs specific apps that other Android phones don't.

And it all depends on your needs, apps in what category are you really looking for?
- Productivity
- Games
- Customization
- Social Networking
- etc etc
