My tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab E) runs Android 4.4. My primary phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE) runs Android 5.0 and my secondary phone (LG G4 Beat) runs Android 6.0.

It got boring and nowadays half the "features" I don't even use. I don't know when last I even used my phone's camera. I don't even know when I played a song or a YouTube video. I just don't have the interest anymore (I think)

think im in the same boat as you...

same here...- use to get all excited when upgrade time was approaching...now, could not be bothered.
I have just lost so much interest in a phone... That now I just don't care what phone I use. Working everyday with phones doesn't help either, but not sure if it's just a lack of wow factor with these new phones or what.

On the Huawei P8 the official version is still 5.1 - I've rooted & upgraded to 6.0.

For me it used to be groundbreaking features that were introduced in the early versions of Android. It's been years since anything revolutionary has been added, no I'm not interested in iris and fingerprint scanning. My phone is almost 3 years old and I should really be considering upgrading it, but everything out there makes me go "meh"

I'm on 5.0 and I don't really care about being on anything newer. As long as I can still use the latest apps I'm fine.

what about all these people with nexus phone? surely they got it?

Nexus 6P and 5X are the only ones still receiving updates. It's probably possible to manually flash Oreo onto the others though, although custom firmware makers may need some time if AOSP needs to be optimised for them to work properly.

Seems I'm the only one (for now?) on Oreo.
