Dude, I installed resurrection remix lollipop rom before giving the phone to another family member and he complains alot about the battery life. To be fair it is really bad considering that he bought a brand new genuine Samsung battery.

Can you please tell me the exact rom you use and comment on the battery life because I'm thinking of flashing the phone again but I've been out of the game for a while so not sure what a nice rom would be
CM 13.0-20161218-NIGHTLY-i9100. Battery life isn't bad, but not great either. Though that could just be my battery seeing as I bought it from a questionable shop for cheap.

MIUI 9

To be honest, Version means nothing

What you should ask is what Sec patch you running..... (2017-09-01 for me)

well most of the changes are version based, and as most non romed phones take ages to get a new version.
Id think safer to stick with the major release, as one easily knows what version and the major changes for each.

as nobody says Im running win 10 1709 16299.19
people always say im running win 7/XP ect....

At least Windows 10/7/8 does security updates.... not so much for Android phones.

That is why I say people focus on the wrong number. Features means nothing when your device is leaking your banking passwords and whatnot ;)

Is there an option for Android 8.1? :-P
