Android vs iOS

Aah, backstreetboy, the poster child for Android uber alles, the tip of the spear of I'm right and you're wrong, the champion of conform to my standards or you're an ass.
So, BSB, back in the day, when I used to build my own specced Windows machines, I tried Windows Media Player, WinAmp, Media Monkey, AIMP 3 and even Zune... I settled on iTunes (even in a Windows environment) because it was the best for me. The experience improved on my Hackintosh and now it's supreme in my Mac environment (MacBook, ATV, phone and tablet). I'm not changing for anything, neither the hardware, OSX, IOS OR iTunes... Also, I won't have Chrome on my machine for any reason either. That's me, and it works for me. You do you 'tho, 'cos in my world we CAN all get along.
The choirs you're preaching to have already chosen their denominations and they're quite happy there, thank you... The sooner you get this, the healthier and happier you'll be too.
Guess I'm wrong then.

Q: How many Apple engineers does it take to fix iTunes?
A: None. It's a public relations problem.

Still peeved I had to recode my whole flac library to m4a lossless so iTunes can play it. Even Windows supports flac already. I'll take Winamp over it anyday. Musicbee is serving me well currently. Moving over to Ubuntu soon so will see what they have there but my Plex and Google Play Music will probably be enough.

I've used both since 2008. Two iPhones and two Android phones. I liked them all. Might even go back to the iPhone 7 if it's interesting.

In the same boat except the price of a flagship experience on Android is significantly cheaper nowadays. Finding it hard to make a case for making the move back to iOS.

Fanbois of any kind is just stupid. Use everything ffs.

I am so glad I have Dave123 blocked so I don't see any of his posts.

Same here :D

Oh, look, a pair of singularly unique village dwellers.

Funny how @Thor187 has just quoted and replied to one of my posts in the US terrorist threat thread, pretty difficult to do if you have the person blocked, né? Though I should feel privileged to have annoyed the resident trolls enough to contemplate blocking me :D.

By the way, I'm an Android user...

Are you done?

Guys guys. Settle down. These are just operating systems. They are not a religion or political movement.
Having said that: Android rules and Ios sucks

Which is?

iCloud. (Or any other cloud service)

See, It's looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist if you just change your mindset of the way you work.

It's one of those things where Apple is again ahead of the game, as long as you embrace their logic/method.

If you are trying to employ old school USB stick logic, you are going to have a bad time, no argument there.

But it's not the only and certainly not very efficient.

My iPad hadn't touched a PC in years. My new iPhone hasn't connected to one at all.

(Yes I realise the link in question says no Internet. But that isn't a reality in the modern world. The question then really is why have an iPad or tablet at all.

Because it's a regular thing that I'm at a meeting, friends house etc. without a flash drive and want to grab a video or whatever. With an Android device I can plug in, get the media and access it on my phone with whichever app I want. I suppose someone will suggest that I get into the mindset of always carrying a flash drive with me, but my mindset is that with a computer in my pocket, it should function as such, which Android does.
