Anyone running android x86? I'm running ICS RC1 from android-x86.org from a USB stick.
I'm actually blown away by how usable ICS is on a non touch screen device. Testing it on a HP 4330s Probook, and most of my hardware works out of the box. Network port is dead, but wireless works, so no biggie.

Anyone else care to take it for a spin?

The office usability is not up to par yet. Once LibreOffice releases for Android then I'll try it on my netbook.

I tried it some time ago on a netbook, Well that was the 2.3.* version from http://www.android-x86.org/

Was ok, but to be honest I dont see any reason anyone would run it instead of something like Easypeasy

The UI is just not made for it, even on my transformer, the Keyboard + mouse combo just feels awkward at best, thats why I personally can not wait for the Ubuntu on Android project to mature.

Slightly OT, but are they going to make that available for any existing devices? Because according to the site it's only for future hardware. I'm guessing it's just more marketing BS...

I am sure Canonical's plans is only for future devices, but seeing that its based on Open Source code, I am sure XDA would not be to hard to push to get it for other devices.
