Permi negative with the Ma Se P-Series. Nee man.
Negativity isn't necessarily a problem when it's based on fact, the problem with eg2505's negativity is that it is based on nothing besides some odd belief that everything from China is based on a Toyota.

Hiluz with KZ-TE engine, tanks never give issues.

Theyt pretty older gen and fits the budget, you can retro fit infortainment screen etc.

High end did have AC eletric windows etc

or a Nissan, or a Isuzu, or something else they managed to rip-off
thats how China rolls, its all copies of copies, so its like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you will get.

maybe a better copy, or a worse copy, but you WILL get a Copy of something else.
so a P series is based on a older gen Hilux with some ghastly styling, but parts like the oil filter are from a Hilux,
spark plugs, brake pads from a Hilux.

so essentially you getting a Hilux for 50% off, just with some weird Chinese badge on the front.

there is a (good) reason Terrorists drive Hilux and Land Cruisers,
shows when you build a vehicle right the first time, they used by everybody and everyone.

liked this crazy dude who did his own test on a Hilux, quite literally drove the thing to the max, especially the off road tests fully loaded with bricks in the back,
purpose built vehicles struggled, but this (imported) Hilux never broke. quite amazing really, even at one point drove it with no water in the radiator flat out.
yes hes quite mad, but if he couldn't break it, I don't think you can.

Source of you claims?

Did you know that some parts are generic and shared between many manufacturers? sharing a part is not as scandalous as you seem to believe.

China copies everything and anything, and surprisingly gets away with it constantly.
so if a P series is based on a Japanese bakkie, I wouldn't know, but wouldn't be surprised to find out internally they are practically clones.

They copied the old Hiace engine when they brought in the Chinese taxi. Copying the design is one things. Building it to the right spec. Material and quality control is another. So no, copying something doesn't mean it's the same level

yeah most companies and most people buying hiluxes but the prices are madness

the closest i came to a decent one was R180k for a nice D/C 4*4 manual

only thing mileages are high
but is it true that people say toyota can do million kms without a problem

cos this one was 280k for a 2008 model

nice extras as well

is it so bad
Yeah, generally bakkies are not safe but the Hardbody just takes it to another level, look for a Navara instead.

I would buy the single cab for work purposes but not the double cab, it doesn't work as a work horse and it does not work as personal car.
