It's not hatred ;) We usually have a cup of tee over a few horde corpses, just to start the day really good :p

The game is all about the two opposing factions, so we do have a friendly go at each other on the forums now and then.

Re which server to use...

I've tried about 7 or 8 ISP's now, and without doubt Webafrica ushaped prepaid is the way to go :D

Ping times are excellent (except at month-end) and service is outstanding..

If you running XP SP2 dont forget the reg TCP/IP adjustment, it makes quite a difference. It made a difference of +- 110 ms for me.

playing with the nagle algorithm causes your downloads to run a lot slower.

Well with that math you are loosing 70KB/s on torrents. I wouldnt live with that.

I agree. Starting fresh on an established realm is really rough. Being pvp makes it even harder. You now seperated by 80 levels when you start. Thats a long way. I dont think I will ever create a new character again. Fortunalty i have just about every class lvl 39 and above. Even that seems daunting now.

This can lead to a lot of frustration and you will feel that you wasted your money.

Some new realms have been created. Start on them. Dont be so determined to only play on a realm packed with South African's. The Brits and Europeans arent so bad. You would also be suprised at the number of South African's on these realms.

Remember, you can always transfer your character once you have built him/her up to the realm where your mates are later on.
 
You are a human for 24 hours a day in real life. Why would you want to be one in a fantasy game?

Players, generally new players, want to associate their 'avatar' with themselves. Humans look the most similar.

Why roll a corpse/big cow/Belf/green orc or a troll :sick: Same reasoning for rolling a Nelf, gnome, dworf, human or squidfaced goat. Its a fantasy game! You can be what ever you want and play what ever you want...

Human racial means I can save my trinket slots for something more pewpew :P Draenei racial is a nice HoT in an emergency

Belf I have only because it's the only horde that can roll Pally

Forsaken are fugly but have a mean racial
Tauren are too easy to hit and the racial is worthless
Troll racial is pretty failed tbh
Nightelves can shadowmeld,yay I can stealth afk in bg's? Chickens!
Gnomes,err,right,silliest race ingame,ever
Dwarves have stoneform,pretty ok I guess but the voice grates my skin
Orc's are Ok too and an okayish racial,but another toon where the voice fails

Wouldnt call escape artist ability silly :D very usefull actually. In pvp and pve

After playing human, NE, Undead, orc and tauren, im having fun with my gnome warlock and engineering. Fun is afterall the main reason for playing :)
 
I enjoy my Nelf rogue ... it's the most ninja-looking - and I enjoy casually gaming/exploring with my ninja on his tiger. (My beerfest rhino is so fat and silly)

As for gnomes, they make pretty damn good rogues. aside from escaping snares etc, they're so friggen small to click on in a BG!

Didn't say it's a useless ability,just the silliest looking class there,I won't use an item if it looks ****,nor would I roll a class if it looks the same :P
