Those were the times, I'm not saying it was right just that in colonial times the European powers saw the political need to go out and conquer, which they did. Current political leaders, of which Mbeki is one, can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that they have won and this is history.

These are the times we find ourselves in ... BEE, AA and a government that is so schizophrenic that it can't come up with a coherent policy on crime, never mind international issues like Zimbabwe.
 
I doubt there are many here who have experienced the sort of race hate this journo supposedly endured first hand.

Does that justify incitement? Moreover, does that justify its publication in a national newspaper?
 
I have found a way to stop being irritated by Qwelane - I stopped reading his columns some years ago. Incidently, this amazing technique also worked on David Bullard.
