Another sheep to the slaughter...

I have the Nokia E71 and it's (on paper) better than the 8520 Curve, so as you can see, I've done my homework, I just want something new to play with and the BB seems like a good enough toy.
The software on the 8520 definately beats the E71, but then again, it's just software, I'll be using the BB for basically tweeting, the chatting and FB'ing - doing this on the E71 is a bit of a mission since you need to use whole applications that CHOW battery ;)

I have the E72 & it has an FB (& other) apps & the battery lasts very well :)

Be quiet you and start working on the BB myBB App! Or I will set the Jabberwocky on you! :p
Believe me I did enquire about the possibility a while back. :o

Battery life can be an issue - I've been listening to streaming audio (covered by BIS) on my blackberry all morning and it looks like I might have to charge it tonight. :o

And? What did they say? If you ask me there are far more people on mybb that uses bb. I smell a rat called "biased" :-)
IIRC - and it was a while ago - but it was just much simpler to develop for the iPhone and Android platforms.

I often use my phone to browse/post here.

www.myadsl.co.za/vb takes me directly to the mobile version of myBB :)
Same with the blackberry but it's not nearly as polished as the iPhone application.

EDIT - actually that link doesnt take me anywhere.

@bwana: What app are you using for streaming covered by BIS?

Well look;

A: My contract is on a weekender - and I'm changing this contract to a topup but it only changes over on the 1st of December because the BB services are not pro-rata chargable or something like that.

They lied to you. You can turn on BIS anytime in the month. Only thing is you will prob pay the full BIS monthly fee - no pro-rata. A blackberry with no BIS is a brick.

This is probably true, which is why the Vodacom guy told me to just wait the few days and in the past I would've probably said "NO WAY, ACTIVATE NOW MAN!" but his advice is correct, it's only 3 days left.

Patience is a virtue.
